In-Kind Donations
The donation of certain items is just as valuable to the improvement of the Centre as monetary donations. The most important thing regarding item donation is that the items are in good condition.
The following items are especially needed:
Mosquito nets: preferably nets that have been treated with insecticide in order to prevent malaria transmission.
Footwear: shoes, boots, flip flops
Clothes: the children normally receive clothes which are donated by sponsors and well wishers. If you have quality clothes that your children have outgrown, or other clothes, you can send them to St. Pauls: socks, underwear (new only), jeans/trousers/shorts, sweaters, shirts, pajamas, jackets, bathrobes.
Schoolbags: the children of St. Paul Childrens Care Centre receive homework, so they must carry books home. Currently, books are carried in plastic bags. The condition of the books has decreased quickly due to the lack of schoolbags. The Centre will gladly accept any bags in good used condition which can be used as schoolbags.
