Library Project

Currently St. Pauls Childrens Care Centre has a small library that was miraculously spared in the fire that destroyed the kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, and boys’ dormitories. The library was begun mostly with donations left by past volunteers and a small number of books donated to the home. We are currently looking for books for all age groups as well as all genres. We have many students who are excelling at their literary endeavors and we would like to be able to support their growth. If you are donating your previously owned books, please ensure that they are still in good condition.

Also, due to the high cost associated with shipping items overseas, we also encourage financial contributions to aid in the additions to the library. It is often more cost effective to purchase the necessary books in Kenya through the contributions of donors. If you would like to make a contribution specifically to the library, please please contact us, and specify what you would prefer your contribution to go towards.
